Fireside Lodge opened its doors December, 1946. It originally had eight one and two bedroom brick cottages with weeping mortar. Over the years, it had other units added. In 1992, it was completely rebuilt after the earthquake in Big Bear. It now has grown to 32 units. Motel rooms, one and two bedroom suites, and spa suites replaced the original architecture.
Fireside Lodge has had four owners over the years. The current owners have enjoyed Big Bear for countless years.
Fireside Lodge has since undergone extensive remodeling of the rooms. Come up and make a little history of your own at Fireside Lodge!
