Amgen Tour of Cycling Race

The Amgen Tour of California is the largest cycling race in North America featuring elite professional cycling teams from around the world competing for the highest prize. This free event attracts cycling's top professional riders, including 7-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong.

Scheduled over eight consecutive days from May 16 - 23, 2010, the Amgen Tour of California is a “rolling festival” showcasing more than 750 miles of California’s scenic beauty. Stage 6 or the “Big Bear Climb” will take place on Friday, May 21, when riders will race over 140 grueling miles from Pasadena to Big Bear Lake.

On the day of the Tour’s first-ever mountain-top Finish, related events such as the Lifestyle Festival will take place before, during, and after the actual Finish to provide entertainment and to create a weekend long cycling celebration. Spectators can also ride the 1st Annual Tour de Big Bear on Saturday, May 22, 2010. For more details please call (909) 866-2638 or visit thebigbearclimb.com
